Anthropic reports early Claude drug-development results with six partners and buys Mithril Medicine
Anthropic shared preclinical results from six life-sciences partners, including roughly 35,000 Claude-generated antibody designs at Divergence Labs and an 89% cut in manufacturing-record review time at Enveda. It also acquired Mithril Medicine, a one-person biotech whose muscular dystrophy candidate could reach human trials in late 2028.
Why it matters
Gives concrete, partner-level numbers on where LLM agents speed up biotech work today, though nearly all of it is still preclinical.
