AMD Helios rack systems installed at Meta as the companies expand their AI hardware partnership
AMD says its Helios rack-scale systems are installed and under test at Meta, with a wider rollout planned. Meta was an early design customer for the Instinct MI450 architecture and will deploy a custom Instinct GPU tuned to its workloads. AMD will also put $1 billion into Meta's equity offering. No capacity figures or dates were disclosed.
