OpenAI's Decisions API leaves beta for fast, typed classify-and-route calls
The /v1/decisions endpoint on gpt-6-luna is now generally available. Instead of free text it returns typed results such as a probability, a constrained choice or a rubric score, and OpenAI says it is far faster than doing the same with the Responses API. GA allows up to 400 questions per request and bills only input tokens; Azure Foundry added it a day later.
Why it matters
A cheap, low-latency building block for agent routing, triage and gating steps that don't need full generation.
